Got A Letter this Morning.The Details within Are ......
Didnt take long .I only saw the consultant 8 days ago .ummm.Not the best news to see in 2007.Mixed emotions.Pleased its being done so quick (but equally puzzled by the speed)i guess the thinking is that,if it is "benign" (to use the consultants loaded-word)then they can move onto the ultra-scan (kidneys) & umbrella-up-the-willy (bladder). great 2nd week of the year in prospect! biopsy on the 9th then further dental pain from my Polish dentist on the 11th!

I visited MeMam this afternoon (she knows nothing about this.strange to be sharing with the World but not my Mum!)My brother drives me to Huddersfield (the leaflet says not to drive myself......must be a rule for Skoda drivers?)

Silver Jews~Slow Education
i play Silver Jews for 2 reasons.Firstly its suitably depressed & pessimistic (as most County music is) & secondly they are mentioned in a book i got from Cath's Library last night .SOUTH BY SOUTH WEST:A ROADMAP TO ALTERNATIVE COUNTRY by Brian Hinton I've read two chapters so far. Really interesting to me;& Don you would love it! The Index includes 25 people/bands I have seen live!Amazing!Siver Jews are mentioned (not seen) & also Giant Sand(not seen)except (here) on YouTube

Also from Cathy's Library yesterday i got a copy of I Am Alive And You Are Dead:A Journey into the Mind of Philip K. Dick.I used to eat this blokes novels when i was 19-25!The Strangest Cat from Americana Fiction in the 50's&60's.Several of his books have been turned into films BLADE RUNNER;TOTAL RECALL;etc etc I havnt started reading yet..although its by my bedside & in the winds last night, i awoke suddenly& spilled a glass of orange juice on it!.call it a christening......
