blowing in the wind..............

[Jim,Tony T. & Jack-the-Print ]

Hey! I,m Back from The Super League Grand Final!
Good close match .Leeds beat Saint Helens 24-16.
[Bob & Trigger]

My photos are here Not bad for a first attempt with my new camera. The Seats are too small at Old Trafford to take steady photos.
[Dancing Girl on the side of the pitch]

Rugby supporters also tend to be larger than soccer fans.so even less space! I got really wet.driving rain into our faces.......the roof leaks!.So I was squashed& uncomforable........difficult to balance the large camera.Also....in front of us were a dozen fans from Leeds who broke wind& farted throughout the game.so the rain was smelly too! I got my own back , i (by accident) extended my zoom and crashed the lens into the back of the head of one of the farting Lioners!!!!!Thankfully, he was too busy emptying his bowels & shouting at Saint Helens to notice!!!! The zoom is ok.......it covers a fair distance.
[I took this with my zoom................................]

Nice shooting man. I think you should come to Dublin. We could go shooting.

You and that camera are a great team.

Leeds eh?
I've just finished the Brian Clough book and I'll never see Leeds in the same way again - rugby or football.

I love the new lens - it doesn't auto-focus with my D40, but it does tell me when the subject is in focus; I just have to turn the lens by hand.

It does have an auto-focus as well as manual.although (given time) i might stick to maual myself.Hey! Leeds Rugby team are OK.but Leeds United are a different matter.the Cloughie book sorta suggested it was just Bremner & Giles who had it in for the Late-Great Cloughie.I wonder what Cloughie would have done with Joey Barton!!!?????
Dublin my second favorite European city (next to Istanbul).I would love to buy you a Pint MM.Maybe Bollix could join us!?

Nice pics Tony, thinking of getting a new camera myself but I wouldn't be taking it on a 12 hour Binge. Yep, Billy and Johnny thought they ran the shop after Revie left :-)
Pity they didn't win this weekend.

It's An Interesting one re:Bremner+Giles.Although Players get much more money today, they actually have less power.I cant actually imagine a couple of Premership players causing such chaos in a club these days.
I cant get over the hole in the roof in the stand at Old Trafford!Maybe Sir Alex should send Wayne Rooney up to fix it?Although he would probably just nick the lead! (old habits die hard.....)
