no taller than tommorrow's ocean.............

A Happy Birthday To Martin the former Cappo of Rochdale Hammām.Some of the Lads from the ḥammām went for a curry on Friday night in Bamford to celebrate Martin's age.Usually I take my camera & post photos here. But to be quite frank (I sound like Gordon Brown) i decided not to photograph this time.the photos always look the same.Boozy Blokes sat in Pubs with photos of Gracie Fields looking down.............If you want to see what the evening looked like click here & see previous Curry's.Above is a photo I took of Martin a couple of years ago.
Martin is a regular reader here.He said on Friday that ßench is Rather Vague These Days.I agreed............but pointed out That the vaguer I get ;the more comments i get.............................It Works for David Cameron:it Works for Me!!!!!
I am totally pissed off with Labour /Gordon Brown/et al.I,m also pissed off at the thought of 5 years of a Cameron/Tory Government.Welcome To The New Dustbowl!
Infact I had an opportunity to take my camera out in Hebden & didnt.Me&Cath met Phil The X-Fireman& Iris & we spent a pleasant Saturday afternoon /evening in the Pubs+Bars of Hebden Bridge.

My sister's friend Shelia is married to Morris Windsor, the drummer of the Egyptians. Morris got us in free to see R.E.M. a couple of times about twenty years ago when Robyn Hitchcock was opening for them.

Not vague - just odd .... or eccentric if you prefer.

Martin looks like he could grant three wishes if you met him on a woodland path.

Funny picture of Martin! We are having our own dust bowl here in California. There was a shanty town on the banks of the river in Sacramento, our capitol city. They made the homeless disband. Said they finally created 50 new spaces in shelters. But they nevers said what would be done about the other 2950 people.

So many people have a camera with their cellphones. I'm sure life is in the dustbowl, if you are a professional photographer. Everyone has a camera.

If I was living in the UK, I'd be involved with Labour, even with its flaws. It wouldn't be easy.
