But heavens that little boy is just darling! Way better than all the coffee, tea or cows any day. How could we not love the ladies, smoking ....and of course what goes good with a good smoke...coffee, tea....and something a wee bit stronger maybe! :)

Great characters in those Spitalfield shots but your first picture is an absolute gem.
One More Cup of Coffee is one of my fave Bob Dylan songs.
Those 2 women look like a couple of tough cookies. I wouldn't want to mess with them, but I could enjoy a stroll around the farm in Poland. It seems full of charm and character with that rickety fence.
Tony ... each one is awesome in it's own way. I love the one that you took, knowing that it was not taken with a digital camera. That last one made me laugh out loud! I bet those ladies would die seeing it on the internet today! I'm still laughing about your comment of having a snowball fight in the cemetery, lol. It is all melted today.

A beautiful photograph, almost a water color. And the tea and the smokes are great details of a market day.
The top image reminds me of my own childhood in the former East Bloc, even if that would be taken some 15 years earlier.;)

There is real life in these photos. I love the blur of the distant trees in the first one highlighting the little boy. And the black and whites of your uncle and the two ladies are priceless!
