What an odd synchronicity, Maggie's demise when the country is already so politically awakened by the bedroom tax. You were right, there was something in the air.....
Hearing her voice again on the radio over here gives me the shivers, worse than my old headmistress but addressing the nation like a scolding nanny.
I liked being reminded of that speech in Brassed Off, excellent film. You can't get much more British than the humor of the carbon monoxide scene.
