Things To Do After Your Dad Dies.

I attended my friend Bob's Funeral in Oldham this morning 

 He died about 5 weeks ago but , partly , it had been delayed because his son Neil (aka Nodge) McRoberts had been in the USA due to Business. attending a Conference in Stamford, Connecticut and ,prior to that. talking to Netflix Producers about summat or other !.

 He has his own podcast  Talking Scared   which includes Interviews with the likes of   Stephen King  &  Margaret  Atwood .He writes stuff for The Guardian : Esquire and Vogue Magazine . His first Novel comes out soon . pre-order =  https://www.wildhuntbooks.co.uk/books/p/goodboy/9781068563102

needless to say, he spoke very well at today's funeral.

I have known Bob & his son for over 15 years.

 And I have some empathy with Neil's situation of being abroad knowing your dad is dead. 40 years ago I was abroad on Christmas Day in  Marrakesh when I heard my Dad had died suddenly .

Sadly , they had no American Footballs in Morocco ........
