Last night I finished reading this cracking book . I can highly recommend. R.J. Ellory's " The Bell Tower" (2024 )

 A very well written and easy to read style ( think Stephen King without any of his Acid Flashbacks! ) 

It's set on Death Row in Florida Maybe not the best book in the world , but still the best American Crime Novel i have read since James Ellroy.'s " The Black Dahila"
