Last Orders

Me, Martin , Hydn & Phil in Manchester in 2022

Sadly Phil recieved the news ( late Friday 8th March ) that his Cancer was now aggressive and "all"  that can be offered is Palliative Care.
My brother Ziggy seems to be mending slowly .
Huffy tells me that Hydn's pancreatic cancer is also agressive and he has only only been given 6 months. Huffy wants us to meet up for a "last drink" in Rochdale soon .Which will be both strange and moving
.I doubt there will be photos.......

𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬𝐞

I have felt proper shite most of this week.
 Gum& teeth infection , asthma , earache , head & neckache . I've felt my age ( 70 ).
I spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to catch up on my sleep. [Which thankfully , i did . ]
It being sunny & warm and I kept thinking I should be " out having fun " Still. " Mustn't Grumble " ... Anyway , Cath dragged me out to The Shoulder of Mutton in Mytholmroyd tonight for a drink in The Beer Garden. .
Thankfully , all the Big Boys were inside watching Manchester City on the telly. Not a bad photo , considering..... not bad for a corpse .....?

Wild Horses

a clip here  of a young couple from Hexham from the audience .

Martin  had met them once after a gig in the North East . They got chatting and , backstage, sang to him one of his own songs

He then told them that they sang it better than he did, and promised them "one day you will sing that on stage with me" and tonight in Hebden Bridge , for the first time, they did!
