Just a very brief update regarding me & facebook / Instagram .
Sunday afternoon ( 10th August) i received these messages. Totally out of the blue .No explanation about the actual reasons . Plus ( despite what those messages might say) I cannot directly contest their actions.
However, I did find ( via a google search ) an email address for facebook's Community Standards and have sent them an email ( no reply yet ) .
I am genuinely nonplussed about their actions. Now, I do post a lot of "political stuff" on facebook. And recently these have been receiving lots of "likes" & "shares ".That's all I can image the reasons to be........who knows?
I do know a doppelganger ( a very nice chap ) who is kindly letting me share his facebook page . Drop me a message if you need the address of that.
I am actually more upset about also losing my instagram site. Will we ever see it's like again?

Oh "everton" is a long story! I lived in Liverpool for 4 years ( at college ) and watched them a lot then.
Something similar but not so severe happened to me. I can't remember the details, but the decision had obviously been made by a robot. If you get back up and running, send us a friend request!

Facebook deleted my account a few years back. First, they warned me that it had been made a "gray" account and gave me instructions for reclaiming it, but the instructions were incomprehensible (to me) so i just let it die.
Yes, they seem to have contempt for their users.
If anyone should be banned or chastised, it's me because my posts have been far more political than yours, Tony!
