As I post this ,dear beautiful Cuba is being battered by Storm Irma . So this is topical. Here  is a photo I took in Habana in 1997.Two lads make a chariot/ racing car out of the top of a crate.
So.......this week's    sepia saturday "...Cute kids using common household objects to build fantasy horses, spaceships or whatever is a theme as old as photography itself..."

I have photos of my kindergartners walking each other like dogs, using a real leash. Due to privacy issues, you will have to imagine them. Some parents were a bit mortified by it, especially if their child chose to be the dog.

Wonderful photos, and music, too! Nice to have such an international collection of children at creative play. We need more of this good will ambassadorship these days, particularly with climate events like Irma and Harvey displacing so many children here and around the world.

Indeed Molly . Thanks for your visit.

That first picture especially of the boys on their imaginative race car or whatever is perfectly on target for this week's prompt!

Brilliant match for our theme. For all the noisy anxiety about storms here in America our media has once again ignored Cuba. And hardly any attention to the destruction in Puerto Rico or on Mexico's earthquake. I suppose they think other people's problems don't deserve our notice.
