It's purpose was to  give  information about October's Sylvia Plath's 90th Birthday Festival .

  I really liked her .Sorta Punk  Poetry from The Moor in Halifax. Splendid

Plus  another  poet from Philadelphia called Katie Ailes.

My 29 day ban on Facebook : view the offending video.

Rather oddly, I was given a 29 day ban by facebook for posting this video today ' 

It  refers to the current problems of Boris Johnson here in UK 

 Bit of a shame as this month I celebrate my 70 th birthday & we go away on holiday.

 I have appealed the ban , but it's unlikely to be overturned ( it seems , i discover too late, they always ban this particular parody video,no matter the topic )

 The upshot is that I will be posting more here during my 29 exile..

Me and Chris went up to Gaddings Dam this morning. It is 80 feet above sea level and 60 miles inland ,at Lumbutts village near Todmorden .The highest Beach in the UK. Bloody Cold! I started off more "Power Paddling" than "Power Swimming" but I eventually got my modesty wet.. Some detail about Gaddings here all audio is , of course, Neil Young!

So We went to see the famous Don Letts ( The Clash , Bob Marley etc etc ) at The Golden Lion in Todmorden last night. Lovely feel .So friendly .

Filming 'Happy Valley' in Hebden Bridge

Nearly 2 hours of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss live! The quality is more than ok, i think.......

I went into Hebden Bridge today for a haircut. 

While there, I took these photos of them filming the new series of " Happy Valley". I'm a bit snooty about the show tbh. But it was interesting to look at how they go about it.

 I was more excited by the fact that half an hour before I took this photo , I had been in the 'Country Stores' and the lass behind the counter was all in a tiz because Robert Plant ( Led Zeppelin ) had just been in to buy a Steak & Ale Pie 

. He had played in Halifax last night , and was driving back over the tops , taking 'the scenic route' 

I always imagine him a veggie. Shows how much I know........ I mean , in retrospect, I might have seen a Plantish figure stood alone eating, near some busker. But everybody in Heden Bridge looks like that! How was I supposed to know....?

Frankly I havn't a clue!  blushes..........

But , pop -pickers,it's sure to be a memorable evening whatever!

Loads of bruises this week on both my arms.

 It seems this happens as your skin gets old . Ironically , most of my 'wounds' I can place from swimming ( brushing my arms on the swimming pool' lockers: brushing my arms against the lane ropes ;etc etc)
