I have only been briefly out of the house twice in the last 7 days.
Flu:nose-bleeds : coughs; blah-blah-blah . I wondered "Covid" but ,thankfully the result was
" negative".
Comfort of sorts! Anyway to cheer myself up , I've booked tickets to see Don Letts in Todmorden in May .
Today's audio is Elvis Costello Live at The Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles, CA; June 3, 1991. So, the image is a photo i took of a figure on Ken's Living Room wall this afternoon : he has a bust of an arab sticking out of the plaster ( I didn't like to ask...) + he gave me some Moldovan Chocolates , to cheer me up . The most exciting thing that's happened all week........
Someone on twitter wrote regarding this image :
"This is a genuinely, albeit inadvertently, interesting piece of political communication imo. The allusion to the 90s via the visual Friends reference, Creasy’s baby in there as a nod to liberal feminism and to signal that the managerial class should be able to do as they please."
It's either that , or else Keith just farted............

Rune stone, Kungshållet, Kjula, Södermanland, Sweden in 1929.
The inscription reads:
‘Alrik, Sigrid’s son, raised the stone in memory of his father Spjut, who had been in the west, broken down and fought in townships. He knew all the journey’s fortresses.’“

The Photo I took was of Bert at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester in 2007.
The venue featured in this recording is The Iron Horse, which I have been too, although, sadly, not for this particular gig.
If you love the Blue Nile, Prefab Sprout, Go-Betweens, Michael Head and all that good stuff, then you should give this a listen.......... ...
